 Our Osteopathic Manipulation Seminar provides chiropractors the tools necessary to achieve parity. The course covers OMT technique, appropriate examination and diagnosis, as well as documentation. 6 continuing education hours will be accredited to attendees. These courses will be held in-person. 

Understanding how to be compliant when implementing these procedures into your practice is essential. Understanding American Medical Association guidelines, as well as other laws and legislation surrounding OMT gives physicians the knowledge required to operate in a prudent manner. Ensuring our members are adhering to established standards is a priority of the AOCA, and is crucial in our mission to establish parity amongst providers.

Chiropractors tend to be independent thinkers. That nature has led to profession to better serve the needs that are unique to every community. That nature also leaves us vulnerable from the perspective of representation. Any given chiropractor has a limited capacity to change the tide or healthcare. However, collectively we hold much more influence that powers-at-be within healthcare have to recognize and respect. 

Our profession's success will be determined by our ability to unify and aim towards a common goal. The AOCA's mission is to obtain parity in healthcare. In order to manifest this mission we first educate our members. An inadequate understanding of the law and compliance can hinder a chiropractor from thriving. We bridge that educational gap to ensure that our member's actions exceeds the standards that will be used to scrutinize their conduct.

Education provides our members with the tools necessary to achieve equal treatment within the healthcare system. Continued support and representation ensures that they do not receive resistant in from entities that oppose their pursuit of parity. Acting collectively provides our profession the greatest hope for the future.
